God has led us step-by-step throughout our history as we have followed Him in faith. Even with all that we have accomplished together, our story is not over. Now is the time for us to write our next chapter. God’s vision for our church is progressively unfolding as we follow His plan. Creative Strategies for Giving
Like the pieces of a puzzle, our plan will come together to show the next chapter of our story. Our Moving Forward plan includes:
- a redesigned children’s ministry to give us greater effectiveness with kids
- a state-of-the-art Teen Center to increase our impact on teens
- a new audio system for our adult sanctuary
- new adult space for volunteer ministry, classes, and guest meet-and-greet
- a Coffee Café
- a newly designed bookstore
- additional office space and storage space
- improvements to the front of the property; including flattening, landscaping, and signage (pending City approval)
- beginning the process of formal approval from the City for our master plan which includes our future expansion plans and an additional egress from our property for the maximum utilization of our campus
Ask God what part He wants you to play in building the future of Living Word Ministries. All that we are looking for through this campaign is that you seek the heart of God and do whatever He prompts you to do, for it is all the parts working together that accomplish His will.
3 Step Prayer Process for the Capital Campaign:
- Quiet myself and receive God’s instructions.
- Pray: “Lord, what would You want to do through me so that You can accomplish Your purpose for Living Word?”
- Pray all would respond in simple obedience and give what God has put on their heart.

What is Moving Forward?
Moving Forward is the name we’ve given to our first capital campaign (where we give beyond our normal tithes and offerings) that will enable us to make improvements and additions that will permit us to expand our ministry and reach.

What kind of financial commitment is expected of me?
That is between you and God. Our prayer is that you will be faithful and obedient to what the Lord is leading you to do in faith.

Why are we upgrading our current facility?
God has called us to be a compelling force in our community and our world. A big part of Living Word’s vision is to offer state-of-the-art facilities, technology and ministries to empower every generation for maximum impact for Christ.
Monies raised through this campaign will enhance the physical structure of the church as well as impact our children, student and adult ministries.

How can I be involved?
The campaign will attempt to involve all church members to a certain degree. You may be called upon to join a volunteer team aimed at informing, inviting and creating opportunities for our entire congregation to understand the heart and vision behind Moving Forward.
