What curriculum do you use?
Children will not remember what they do not understand, and consequently, can’t live what they don’t know. We use a variety of curriculums which we believe are the very best available. Good curriculum should give the child knowledge of the Bible, and more importantly, guide the child into the use and application of God's Word. We desire to give our kids the same high quality teaching that their parents receive in the sanctuary at a level that is geared for them. From the time a child is born until the time they graduate high school, he or she will experience only 940 weekends, and we want to make the most of every one of them!

Our Sunday morning services use My First Look curriculum for children ages 1 – Kindergarten. We believe in teaching "less for more" by repeating one key truth each month for retention and application. We seek to engage all five of a child’s senses through creative activities. Each week is full of objects for kids to touch, wild and wiggly activities to get them moving, they will love making crafts, and real life situations they can relate to. Our goal is to help each child master one concept at a time by creatively repeating the Bottom Line in a way that it will stick.
We purpose to teach with the end in mind so that by time a child is age 5 he or she believes:
- God Made Me.
- God Loves Me.
- Jesus wants to be My Forever Friend.
How does Kid’s Quest keep parents involved in their child’s experience at church?
Each week your child will go home with a Small Talk Parent's take-home sheet. This
flyer has a summary of what your child learned during the worship service, as
well as some teachable moments that you can use to incorporate each week's lesson into your
child’s daily life. Our desire is to provide parents with tools to help the child make a connection between
what is learned in church and lived at home.
