Why LifeGroups?

So that every individual can experience the power of community, provide care for one another, understand and discuss the truth of the Word, and be spiritually uplifted while we experience life. After regularly attending our weekend services “LOVE” the next step in your spiritual journey here at Living Word is defined by “CONNECT” or moving from our large environments into a lifeGroup. LifeGroups at Living Word Ministries are designed to offer spiritual growth, promote life-giving relationships, provide support to handle life’s issues, and prepare you to serve the church and community. Subjects cover a broad range of topics. LifeGroups are an opportunity to have fun, doing life together.

What are LifeGroups?

LifeGroups help you connect with other believers in meaningful relationships. We believe intentional relationships are key to sustained spiritual growth. That's why LifeGroups are such an integral part of our process. LifeGroups are small groups of twelve to fifteen individuals who “connect” around a shared interest. It can be cooking, sewing, aerobics, basketball, parenting or prayer!

When do LifeGroups meet?

LifeGroups are “Freemarket” that means they can meet at anytime and anywhere in homes, businesses, restaurants, bowling alleys or at the church! Generally we encourage lifeGroups to meet weekly or every other week. We have three twelve week sessions of LifeGroups during the year. At each new session you can choose to stay with your LifeGroup or join a new one the choice is really up to you!

What if I don’t find a LifeGroup that suits my interest?

If you don’t find a LifeGroup that suits your interest, you may want to consider leading one. In order to become a LifeGroup leader, you will be required to participate in the LifeGroup Leader Development small group. There will be a LifeGroup Leader Development every semester.
